Ria Emin makes 36 mile trek for children’s charity
QualitySolicitors Barwells have praised their Legal Manager for successfully completing this year’s South Coast Challenge.
Ria Emin who is based in the Seaford branch took on the trek as part of the ‘Barnardo’s Bucket List Challenge’ that sees participants challenged in to doing an activity or feat in order to raise money for the children’s charity.
The South Coast Challenge saw Ria walk the 36 miles in just over 12 hours, starting in Princes Park in Eastbourne and ending in Hove Park. So far she has raised £480 for Barnardo’s.
Ria said; “I can easily say that this was the most challenging thing I have ever done both physically and mentally. It was such a relief to reach the end but I’m so glad I made it. My poor legs and feet may have taken a while to recover but it was definitely worth it.”
Lauren Chambers, Partner at QualitySolictors Barwells, added; “We are very proud of what Ria has achieved and in name of a great charity. We are looking in to ways of following in Ria’s footsteps and doing more charitable work and implore our local community to get involved in challenges and events themselves.”
