Aamenah Khan
Aamenah obtained her Law Degree with First Class Honours from SOAS, University of London, and has been awarded several best performance awards to recognise her academic excellence. These include:
- The Wildly and Sons Award for the Best Performance in European Human Rights and European Union Law
- The SOAS Award for Best Performance Award in the Law of Property
- The Andrew Huxley Memorial Award for the Best Performance in Common Law, Equitable and Comparative Property 2 : Proprietary Relationships
Thereafter, Aamenah undertook her LPC and LLM course at BPP Law School with a Careers Scholarship and attained a Master’s in law with Distinction.
Aamenah has worked in all the legal disciplines at QualitySolicitors A-Z Law, including Family, Housing, Immigration, Crime, Civil Litigation and Property.
Aamenah can take on various Conveyancing matters and efficiently draft Powers of Attorney and Wills.
In the Family Law sector, Aamenah advocates for victims of domestic violence and is able to apply for Injunctions including non-molestation and occupation orders and is able to deal with TOLATA matters.
Aamenah is also an Immigration and Asylum Senior Caseworker, Level 2 Accredited. She has a passion for Human Rights work and has attended DDAS Legal Surgeries at various Detention Centres, providing advice to detainees on immigration and asylum matters. She can represent unaccompanied minor asylum-seeking clients at the Home Office and has a talent for ensuring that the most vulnerable clients feel comfortable. She can assist in the submission of Visas and other Immigration applications. She is also fluent in Urdu.
Aamenah has a true wealth of experience, which also includes representing at Police Station PACE Interviews. She strives to make sure that every client feels heard, tackling legal problems with tenacity, hard work and enthusiasm. She is client orientated and seeks the best possible solution tailored to every client’s situation and needs.
Upon qualifying as a Solicitor, Aamenah was given a Directorial position with the firm, following her outstanding ability to manage high pressure, high workload and the ability to show leadership, management, finance and accounting excellence.
