We supported the MacMillan Charity on Thursday 4 October.
Receptionist, Mags Prettejohn, thought about taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for MacMillan, but then had the idea of doing something a bit different and decided instead to cook and sell hotdogs in the office in aid of MacMillan.
Mags took orders from other local shops and offices in Crediton in advance of the event and it was also open for people to call in to Charlesworth Nicholl and buy a hotdog on the day between 11.30 & 2pm.
The hotdogs cost £2.50 each, the whole of which will go to the MacMillan Charity with no deductions for expenses.
Partner, Chris Nicholl, said “We are pleased to be able to do this to support MacMillan who do such important work. I’m delighted that Mags and the team have decided to help in this way.”
Mags had also knitted scarves which she sold for MacMillan and the event raised a total of £140.
