Crediton Solicitors, Charlesworth Nicholl, are pleased to support the Christmas Shoe Box Appeal 2014 organised by Brian and Tris Glover of Copplestone. A number of our staff have been out and about in the town buying toiletries and stationery and other items and gifts and they have been busy wrapping and filling their shoeboxes ready for them to be transported to Bulgaria and distributed in time for Christmas.
Practice Manager, Sue Williams, said, “We have been delighted by the response of our staff to this Appeal. When you look at the list of basic items suggested for inclusion in the boxes, it does bring it home to you that so many people across the world don’t have access to items that we are often fortunate to be able to take for granted. It is good that we are able to help a little and we hope the items being sent to Bulgaria will help brighten Christmas for a few people there.”
Closer to home, Charlesworth Nicholl will now be supporting Crediton Food Bank on a regular basis, collecting donations of food items from staff and delivering them to the Food Bank. Partner, Chris Nicholl, said “We recognise that there is a great need in our local area and are happy to be able to do something to help the important work of Crediton Food Bank.”
