Emma Chamberlain

Emma has worked with the firm for 20 years starting as a junior admin assistant and progressing to become a secretary and senior secretary before furthering her career with legal qualifications gained in study out of office hours.

Emma is a local through and through - leaving school at St Benet Biscop High and starting her career with ourselves.  Emma has qualified with CiLex Law School (Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) and works in our Wills and Conveyancing departments.

Her experience from the ground up as an admin assistant to becoming a paralegal with the firm and now working to her practitioner qualification means that she has a wealth of skill and knowledge gained from working closely with our conveyancing and probate solicitors for the past 20 years.

Whilst being a part of the Lawson and Thompson family, she has become a wife and stepmother.  She enjoys many activities such as Off Roading, Trail Running and Camping with her family.  She enjoys the outdoors as well as a cosy movie night at home sharing her half of the sofa with her Neapolitan Mastiff, Khan.
