Paul Dunn

Paul is a Partner with QualitySolicitors Lawson and Thompson and has over 30 years of experience as a criminal defence specialist. He has a particular interest and expertise in serious crime, homicide, drug conspiracies and serious sexual offences, with an unrivalled history of successful defence in such serious cases.   Also equally at home in the Magistrates’ Court with a vast experience of conducting trials, bail applications and mitigations.   A 24-hour Duty Solicitor.   Paul was awarded the Newcastle upon Tyne Law Society Lawyer of the Year in 2014.   Paul also deals with regulatory and coronial law.  He is an Assistant Coroner for South and North Northumberland and Newcastle upon Tyne.

In his spare time, Paul can be found on the roads and trails on his road and mountain bike and is also an aficionado of the Lake District fell walking.
