Mohammed Afzal

I joined QualitySolicitors Mirza in October 2013. Since qualifying as a Solicitor in September 1997, my main area of practice has centred around all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing with a particular emphasis on sale and purchase of land for development purposes, re-mortgages, lease extensions, transfer of equity and assignment of business leases.

I also have substantial experience of conducting civil and commercial litigation.  Over the years, I have represented both individual and corporate clients involved in disputes ranging from routine debt claims to complex partnership disputes.  My litigation experience also extends to acting for clients who have taken their claims to the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords. One such case attracted the attention of the national media and has been cited as a leading authority in legal publications and journals. 

In recent years, I have extended my area of practice to personal injury.  I have acted for clients who have suffered loss and injury following a road traffic accident, work place accident and construction, slip and trip, product liability claims and accidents abroad.   

I have previously worked for a West End law firm and The Treasury Solicitors Department.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, spending time with my family and am a devoted follower of the fortunes of Liverpool Football Club.
