Sajjid Elahi
I am the Senior Partner in this practice and head of the Conveyancing Department. I have been with this practice since 2002 and have managed to establish a very large client base.
I have specialised and dealt with all aspects of conveyancing over the last 15 years. This includes acquiring and disposing of both residential and commercial land and buildings, representing lenders in relation to secured lending transactions, re-mortgages, buy to let transactions, equity release, transfer of equity, tenancy and lease agreements. I feel that my vast experience in this field helps to facilitate a speedy and efficient conveyancing transaction for my clients whilst ensuring they receive the best possible service.
I am very proud of this firm’s accreditation of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme which is The Law Society’s recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing. This accreditation is awarded to firms for good practice management standards in residential conveyancing.
In addition to the above, I am a duty solicitor and practice in criminal law. I regularly represent clients at the magistrate’s court for varying offences. I also deal with more serious allegations, such as missing trader intra-community (MTIC) fraud, money laundering and terrorism. I have substantial experience dealing with very high cost cases.
I also have experience in dealing with wills, probate and personal injury matters and speak fluent Punjabi and Urdu.
I am also the training partner at this firm and overlook the development of our trainee solicitors and their training program to ensure that quality standards are adhered to.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and I have keen interest in cricket.
