Angharad Rowles

Angharad is an Associate Solicitor at J A Hughes in the Family and Childcare Departments and is based in our Barry office having joined the firm in 2018.  Angharad is involved in matrimonial matters concerning separation, divorce and financial matters and also children matters and care proceedings both public and privately funded.

Education – Angharad studied Law in the University of Glamorgan and completed her Law degree 1999 and Legal Practice Course in 2000.

Career – Angharad qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 and worked as a Personal Injury Solicitor in a national Trade Union firm for 12 years before joining a Cardiff Family, Children and Mental Health Law Practice in 2015 and gaining experience in those areas.

Angharad pursued a career in Law as the Law is constantly evolving to accommodate the changes within our society.  She decided to change the area of law in which she worked from personal Injury to Family and Childcare as she is passionate about enabling all members of society to have access to justice.  Angharad finds it rewarding helping people to find solutions to their family problems including both legal and practical resolutions. 

Leisure – In her spare time Angharad enjoys spending time with Family and friends and enjoys going for long walks with her dog.
