Lia Fry

Education
Lia completed her secondary education at Whitchurch Highschool in Cardiff. She went on to complete her A-Level studies at Whitchurch Highschool, where she discovered her passion for Law, Politics and History. Lia continued her studies of Law at the University of Reading and recently graduated with an Upper Second-Class Honours Degree in June 2023. During her studies at the University of Reading she undertook two Research Projects, relating to the importance of safeguarding vulnerable witnesses and defendants in the Criminal Justice System. This required Lia to explore and assess different areas of law whilst critically analysing its validity. Both research projects obtained a first-class grade.
Career
Throughout her studies, Lia has gained experience in various roles, mainly in the hospitality sector and in customer service positions. During her studies at the University of Reading Lia became a member of the Law Society where she participated in weekly meetings and events to discuss changing areas of law. Additionally, she volunteered as a tutor for children with dyslexia, aiding them in their English studies and providing them with extra educational support. After completing her studies at the University of Reading Lia began working for J A Hughes as a Paralegal in September 2023, embarking on her legal career.
Personal
In her spare time Lia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new places and keeping up with her fitness through her passion of running.
