Louise Gibbs
Education:
Louise completed her secondary education at Bryn Hafren Comprehensive School. After completing her A levels at Barry Sixth Form, Louise studied Law at Swansea University obtaining a First class honours in 2018. Following this, Louise completed the Legal Practice Course combined with a Masters in Advanced Legal Drafting at Swansea University in 2020, obtaining a Merit overall. On 2nd September 2023, Louise qualified as a Solicitor.
Career:
Throughout her education, Louise has gained experience in many roles, mainly in the retail sector and customer service. Prior to becoming a paralegal, Louise was working for the Citizens Advice Bureau as both a generalist advisor and as part of the EU Citizens Rights project in South Wales, wherein she gained experience in advising clients on a variety of matters including immigration, welfare benefits, employment, debt and family/relationships. Louise has also undertaken volunteering and voluntary work experience. In 2018, Louise undertook a period of work experience in Capital Law within the Employment and Immigration team. Louise has also previously participated in voluntary work within her local community, including helping to organise and run coffee mornings and other events at Crossways Methodist Church.
Personal:
Louise enjoys socialising with friends, listening to music and is a musical theatre enthusiast. Louise also enjoys going to the gym, walking the dog and reading.
