An injunction is a Court order that requires someone to do or not to do something. Under Part IV Family Law Act 1996 a person can apply for an injunction if they have been a victim of domestic abuse. There are two main types of injunctions in Family Law proceedings:
1. Non-Molestation Order
2. Occupation Order
