Sunday 13th July 2014 sees the city hold the first Worcester Classic Bike Ride.
There are only two other Classic Bikes Rides across the country in Devon and Surrey.
Adam Clayton of Zeus Events has participated in several Classic Bike Rides and decided to bring the event to his home town of Worcester.
This year, the Event Sponsors are Listers Jaguar Land Rover in association with David Lloyd Leisure Worcester partnered with Clif Bar and Company, QualitySolicitors Parkinson Wright, The Green Bike Company, Devon Classic Bike Ride and Scimitar.
The ride starts at Worcester Warriors Rugby Club and has three different and challenging routes, 55 miles, 85 miles and 100 miles covering the beautiful Worcester country side. The three one day rides are designed for all cycling enthusiasts, sportsmen and women who want to take on a challenge and at the same time raise funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice.
QualitySolicitors Parkinson Wright has registered a team of six Riders who between them will be attempting all three of the routes. There will be activities for all the family at Worcester Warriors Rugby Club from 12 noon including live music, food and drink and local stalls.
