On Saturday 19th March, a team from Quality Solicitors Dunn & Baker took part in the Hospiscare Swimathon 2016. The event was excellently run as numerous teams took to the water at Middlemoor Police HQ Swimming Pool raising money for the charity. The objective for each team was to swim constantly for approximately an hour and to cover as many lengths as possible.
Dunn & Baker's 'Sinking Solicitors' were made up of Dan Pollard (Private Client), Steven Came (Private Client), Sarah Randall (Property), Steph Abbott (Property) and Claire Handley (Property). The team finished the event as the number one team of solicitors and covered 102 lengths (over 2500 meters) which they were justifiably delighted with. The team also raised £225 (and counting) for Hospiscare, a local charity providing much needed professional care for patients with life threatening illnesses and their families in Exeter, Mid and East Devon.
