We are proud to be supporting Rowcroft Hospice ‘Make a Will Week’ between 13th -17th May 2019.
Rowcroft Hospice, situated in Torquay, provides palliative and end of life care to over 2000 people in South Devon every year, enabling patients and their families to make the most of every moment they share.
For one week only, we will waive our entire simple Will-writing fee in return for a donation to Rowcroft Hospice. The suggested donations are £175.00 for a simple single Will and £225 for simple mirror Wills.
If you have not yet made a Will you should consider putting one in place. If you die without leaving a Will, then your estate will be distributed by a complicated set of legal rules. These rules may not fully provide for your close relatives. In addition, they make no provision for unmarried partners, except those registered as civil partners. Even if you already have a Will, you should review it at least every three to five years, and after any major life changes such as getting separated, married or divorced, having a child or moving house.
After you’ve taken care of loved ones, you may wish to consider leaving a gift in your Will to Rowcroft. No matter how big or small, a gift in your Will can truly make a difference.
- £265 would be enough to pay for the cost of ten one-to-one bereavement sessions for a person when they need that support the most
- Gifts in Wills fund the care of our 1 in 5 patients
- £4564 is the cost of running the whole of our Inpatient Unit for 24 hours, enabling the dedicated team of staff to take care of patients’ needs
