Martin Justice
INTRODUCTION
In March 2024, Martin joined the Dunn & Baker Private Client Department as an Associate Solicitor. Martin has over 24 years’ experience as a Private Client Lawyer, having qualified with a firm in the Home Counties in 2000. He has been practicing in Devon since 2005 and was previously a partner in 2 local law firms.
TRAINING
After completing his Law Degree in 1995, Martin obtained a Distinction on the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester and qualified as a solicitor in 2000. He trained with a top tier legal 500 firm in Hertfordshire before relocating to the South West in 2001.
He has been a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 2007, completing his STEP diploma with distinction.
SPECIALISMS
Martin carries out all areas of Private Client work including Wills and tax planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate administration and older clients’ affairs.
Martin’s main specialisms are inheritance tax and succession planning for high net worth individuals, farmers and business owners. He also specialises in advising on the creation, administration and winding up of various trusts set up for purposes such as tax planning, asset protection or school fees.
