INTRODUCTION
Neil has over 18 years’ experience in property work, acting in both Commercial and Residential Property matters. Since qualifying as a Solicitor in 2000, Neil has spent the majority of his legal career working for two Exeter based law firms and specialises in Commercial Property whilst also undertaking Residential Conveyancing work.

TRAINING
Prior to qualification, Neil obtained a Law degree at Solent University in Southampton and then went on to complete his Legal Practice Course at Guildford, College of Law. Following that, Neil completed a Training Contract in the Legal Department of Exeter City Council which gave him an excellent grounding in commercial property. Neil then worked for many years in two other law firms before joining Dunn & Baker Solicitors in October 2018.

SPECIALISMS
Neil is experienced in a variety of complex work on behalf of a range of clients. In relation to Commercial Property, Neil acts for Property Developers, Local Authorities, Landlords and Tenants, Insolvency Practitioners and individuals. He has considerable experience of acting for sellers and buyers of businesses which have a property aspect, such as hotels, public houses, restaurants, retail premises and petrol stations. In relation to Residential Property, Neil undertakes a range of work including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity and land transfers.

Neil has lived and worked in East Devon all his life, apart from when he studied Law at Southampton and Guildford. Neil is well known in the property community and has many loyal clients who have followed him to Dunn & Baker Solicitors.

APPROACH
Communication with his clients and all related parties is an integral part of his work to achieve maximum client satisfaction and, as many of Neil’s existing clients will vouch, he is practical, knowledgeable and completes matters promptly.
