Susan Ellingham

INTRODUCTION
Sue is a solicitor in the Family Department in our Exeter Office and has specialised in Family and Matrimonial matters since her qualification as a solicitor in October 1993.

TRAINING
Sue completed a degree in Law LLB at De Montfort University (Leicester Polytechnic).  Sue attended Chester College of Law to complete the Law Society Final’s before completing her training contract with a law firm in Peterborough.  Upon qualifying as a solicitor Sue specialised in family law and relocated to the South West to work.    Prior to joining Dunn & Baker Sue worked for a specialised family law firm for approximately 22 years, where she became a Resolution Accredited Specialist.  Since then Sue has worked for two further Legal 500 firms before recently joining Dunn & Baker solicitors in November 2024.

Sue is an Accredited Resolution Specialist and a Resolution trained collaborative and Resolution Together lawyer.

SPECIALISMS
Sue specialises in all aspects of Family Law with a particular focus on divorce, separation, financial and children arrangements. Sue regularly acts on behalf of parties with complex financial or children issues.

Sue is the current regional Chairs of Resolution for Devon area and East Devon and Devon Collaborative POD.
