The cycle team, DCP Velo, have secured sponsorship from local firms, QualitySolicitors Dunn & Baker, Homeweb, The Bike Shed, Imaginisca Wedding Photography and Cycle Logic Cornwall to enable them to design and buy cycle jerseys for the whole team.
The team are cycling from Police Headquarters in Exeter in the early hours of 15 September to London where they hope to arrive by early evening the same day. The event is aiming to raise at least £500 for Force Cancer Charity.
Dean Drury of DCP Velo said “We are very grateful to our sponsors for their support which has enabled us to buy a set of fantastic team jerseys. It is going to be a very demanding challenge to ride over 170 miles all in one day and we hope that the public will support us for such a worthy cause”.
