QualitySolicitors Dunn & Baker are pleased to grow their well-established residential property team in Exeter, following a period of growth and expansion for the firm. They welcome four new people to their residential property department; James Goode, Claire Penhallow, Louise Webber and Gemma Haines-Lawson.
James Goode joins QualitySolicitors Dunn & Baker as a Solicitor from a local law firm. Having gained a first class degree in Law from Kings College in London, James qualified as a Solicitor in 2013. James joins the team in Exeter with a wealth of experience in both residential and commercial property matters. He has particular expertise in dealing with lease extensions (a statutory right for a tenant to acquire a new lease under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993).
Claire Penhallow also joins QualitySolicitors Dunn & Baker as a Paralegal with over thirty years’ experience, and assists James Goode in both residential and commercial property matters.
Louise Webber and Gemma Haines-Lawson join the firm as Property Executives. With nearly thirty years’ combined experience, they are well practiced in dealing with a variety of property transactions. They work closely together, and previously worked together at another Exeter law firm. They have experience in advising on a range of residential property matters including sales, purchases, transfers of equity re-mortgages. Louise and Gemma are also proficient with Help to Buy purchase schemes and shared ownership matters including acquiring a shared ownership lease, and staircasing (purchasing additional shares in a shared ownership property).
Nick Penwell, Senior Partner, said “We are pleased to have recruited such experienced and established conveyancers to join our Exeter team. The new team members will complement our existing expertise and contribute to our growing and well respected property department.”
QualitySolicitors Dunn & Baker is one of the oldest established law firms in Exeter. It has been practising in the Exeter area for over 100 years.
