Marketing Manager (maternity cover 9-12 months) at Quality Solicitors

About the role

Working within our head office marketing department in St Ives, Cambridgeshire you will report to and work with the Operations and Marketing Director on QualitySolicitors marketing strategy.

Creating and implementing marketing strategies for our Partner Firms with the support of the wider team (design, communications, SEO and PPC), you’ll have broad knowledge of the marketing mix. Vast experience in stakeholder management and building relationships is essential. A very hands on role with a strong focus on the strategy and the bigger picture.


Main roles and responsibilities (not in order of importance and not limited to)

  • Work with our Partner Firms throughout the UK to create and assist with their personalised local marketing strategies and plans, identifying key areas of development to create new opportunities
  • Creation of network wide marketing calendars based on market trends for different areas of law
  • Build and maintain relationships with our Partner Firms
  • Conduct market research to support local and national marketing strategies
  • Management of all QualitySolicitors social media accounts and strategy
  • Management and development of existing business relationships
  • Support with writing compelling copy and content to be used across a wide variety of media i.e. social, blogs, website content, brochures, guides, newsletters 
  • Proofreading and editing existing campaign material
  • Work with the team to devise and deliver Partner Firm marketing strategies
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness and ROI of campaigns, providing actionable insights
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, new media and techniques

Person specification

Essential:

  • Relevant marketing degree 
  • Vast experience in marketing strategy and planning
  • Customer focussed with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Hands-on social media management experience
  • Creative flair, championing new ideas to fulfilment
  • Telephone handling experience
  • Proven track record of delivering success 
  • Commercial thinker
  • Well organised and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Self-starter, results focused and deadline driven
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Acute attention to detail with strong problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the UK legal system
  • Relevant professional marketing qualification e.g. CIM
  • Full UK driving license
