Homelessness

If you’re homeless or being threatened with homelessness, it can be a confusing and lonely time. And if your local council isn’t providing the help you need, you may not know where to turn next.

If you’re facing homelessness and need someone to help, you can visit Citizen Advice for more details.

We also recommend referring to this webpage from Shelter, a charity dedicated to supporting people facing homelessness.

They can provide you with advice and make your well-being a priority.  And if you’re not sure if you’re eligible for council housing or have had a request turned down, they can provide the help and advice you need. If you have children, health problems or other special circumstances they often can take immediate action to ensure you are housed straightaway.
