Will I have to move out of the property when the leasehold term comes to an end?

Not necessarily. Unless steps are taken by either the tenant or the landlord, the tenancy will continue on the same terms. If you are required to leave the property at the end of the term, you will usually be entitled to a notice period.

If your lease is due to come to an end in the near future, it’s a good idea to talk to a legal advisor and research your options as soon as possible.
