My neighbour has started work on a shared wall but I haven’t received a party wall notice. Can I ask him to stop work?

If a valid party wall notice hasn’t been provided and you have concerns about the work being carried out, you can ask your neighbour to stop work until the correct steps have been taken.
If your neighbour refuses to stop work, it may be possible to seek a court order to stop the work. One of our expert property solicitors will be able to advise on the best action to take.
